The Setup

Amazon relies on a clever and cost-efficient setup for its CARLA CARGO fleet: less is clearly more here! All CARLA models used manage without any motor assistance – purely mechanically, but extremely reliable and low-maintenance.

Consistently pragmatic: mudguards are partially dispensed with, which saves weight and simplifies service. The CARLAs are equipped with a sturdy base plate on which the goods are transported in stackable plastic boxes.

A variety of different models are used as towing bicycles, but the TERN HSD eBike has proven to be a reliable and powerful towing bicycle for many of them.
